Hello and welcome to Week 19 of #HOMwork!
This week, I have a fun AND functional assignment for you inspired by a piece I did in a workshop I took last week from my friend Annica of Dirty Bandits.
By this point in the challenge, you've probably heard me talk about how using opposites (colors, ideas, styles, etc.) can add a nice charm to your work. So for this assignment, we're going to take something mundane and turn it into something delightful.
Yup, you know that list you bring with you to the grocery store to make sure your house is stocked for the week? Your challenge is to design it into a beautiful piece of art.
As always, the second part of the challenge is to post your gorgeous grocery list on Instagram with the hashtag #HOMwork so we can see what everyone created. In the caption, tell us what you plan on using the groceries for (a special occasion? a new recipe? late night snacks?).
Bonus points for tagging your grocery store or the food brands on your list in your post...who knows, they might see your work and want to hire you for something!
Make sure to complete & post your work before the next challenge comes out if you want a chance to be featured in my Story.
Can't wait to see what yummy things you're going to eat this week! Oh, and your beautiful artwork, of course ;)
